Automatic Penetrometer For Fruits
The AGROSTA® Wonderfast is a high-precision fruit texture analyzer designed to accommodate various measurement needs for firmness and crush resistance in fruits and vegetables. It offers two distinct measurement strategies to provide flexibility across different produce types:
- FIX PRESSURE AND MEASURE TRAVEL: Primarily used on soft fruits, citrus, tomatoes, and avocados, this method measures deformation while applying a fixed pressure. This mode also supports measurements using the FIRMETCH standard.
- FIX TRAVEL AND MEASURE PRESSURE: Commonly used when Wonderfast functions as a penetrometer, this strategy measures pressure at a set depth, ideal for firmer produce but adaptable to soft fruits as well.

- Powerful Windows Software: Comes with a built-in light version of Excel, so there’s no need for an external Excel installation. Our plug-and-play software ensures automatic connection as soon as the device is plugged into the computer via USB, allowing you to create, fill, and modify Excel files directly for efficient data management.
- Removable Turntable: Comes with a standard turntable that can be easily detached for cleaning. Additional turntables are available, including:
- 10-cup tray for apples, peaches, or oranges
- 20-cup hemispheric tray for cherries, apricots, cranberries
- 20-cup oval tray for grapes or raspberries
- 32-cup tray for blueberries (available in four sizes based on berry size)
- High-Tech Engineering: Dual-core processor, precision stepper motors, and anti-backlash lead screws for 0.1mm movement accuracy.
- Flexible Pressure Measurement: Up to 12 kg of pressure (24 kg/cm² with an 8 mm tip) with 1-gram precision.
- Continuous Measurement: Allows for batch testing with no need to pause; simply replace fruits on the turntable mid-cycle.
Wonderfast is perfect for intensive use in quality control, providing reliable, accurate measurements in both laboratory and field settings.
