About Us

AGROSTA OVERSEAS

AGROSTA specializes in designing and manufacturing high-quality electronic instruments for applications in food, medicine, and pharmaceutical industries. Our instruments are built to handle the unique challenges of analyzing living materials, where natural variations require precise, reliable statistical measurements.

Since our founding in 1985 as Agro Technologie, we have pioneered innovations in firmness testing, starting with the Durofel machine for soft fruits and vegetables. Today, AGROSTA provides some of the best value-for-money instruments on the market, trusted by packers, growers, manufacturers, researchers, governments, and universities around the world. We currently export to over 82 countries, with major markets in Spain, India, the USA, and South Africa, and are rapidly expanding in Asia and Oceania, becoming a reference in countries like Indonesia and Australia.

Our mission is to design simple, user-friendly, and highly effective instruments for measuring texture, size, color (including infrared), and weight. To maintain affordable production and high standards of quality, we incorporate open-source technology and 3D printing, enabling us to quickly develop custom instruments tailored to specific needs. By streamlining our processes, we focus on delivering advanced technology and exceptional customer service.

Areas of Leadership

  • Blueberry firmness testing
  • Texture analysis of chicken breast for detecting deep myopathy
  • Multifunctional turntable lab machines for soft fruit testing
  • Maturity testing for cherries
  • Firmness testing for tomatoes

Future Focus: We are advancing in versatile texturometry for food and near-infrared (NIR) pulp measurements for fruits and vegetables.
