Field Fruit Firmness Tester
The Agrosta®100FIELD is an advanced Durofel firmness tester, continuously refined through over 9 upgrades since its creation in 1987 in collaboration with CTIFL. This iconic device measures the firmness of soft fruits such as tomatoes, blueberries, cherries, plums, and grapes, delivering highly accurate results using the reliable Durofel scale.
It features a bright 2.4-inch color touchscreen that simplifies navigation and settings adjustments. Users can perform single or multiple measurements (2 or 8 per fruit) with ease, and the device automatically calculates and displays averages for quick analysis. It includes a microSD card for local storage, enabling CSV batch storage. Optional Bluetooth pairing with Android devices unlocks advanced features like GPS recording and barcode scanning.

How It Works ?
Turn on the device and navigate through the intuitive 2.4-inch color touchscreen to configure your settings. Choose between single or multiple measurements (2 or 8 per fruit) based on your testing needs. If you are using the optional Bluetooth connectivity, pair the device with your Android smartphone for additional features like GPS recording and batch storage.
Place the appropriate testing tip (e.g., Tip 25 for cherries or tomatoes) on the fruit’s surface. Press gently to take the measurement. The Durofel scale will display a precise firmness value for each test, ensuring accurate ripeness evaluation. For multiple measurements, the device automatically calculates and displays the average firmness value, saving you time.
Store your measurement results directly in the device or, if connected via Bluetooth, in the CSV format on your Android smartphone. The app enables advanced data management, including batch analysis and location tracking with GPS. Export the data to Excel for further analysis, reporting, or quality control documentation.
